Thank you so much for this. A very appropriate and timely Easter message and every paragraph is loaded with truths. Just an all around wonderful article!
Great article! Many Americans have a strong inclination to deny reality. Iranian mullahs, for example, talk about destroying little Satan, Israel, and the great Satan, the USA. It is not hyperbole. They mean it. I don’t believe that Hamas wants a Palestinian state. They want to destroy Israel. This is something that is difficult for ever rational Americans to get their mind around. I would love to be proven wrong.
I am also suffering “Hitler” fatigue. Most of those using the name as a descriptive are likely to know very little about history, what their country stands for, and why we are blessed. I would like to suggest that haters come up with a new name. Genghis Khan would be good. It has a ring to it. Attila?
Agree with all you wrote. The hatred lives deep within those who have no faith. They choose to be blind to the truth. It is sad how divided our country has become. The choice for the next Pope I think is crucial for all humanity. I’m hoping it will be Cardinal Sarah from the Congo, who seems to be the most conservative, but I’m not Catholic. But I’m thankful for my few good friends here. Glad you can write what you feel and think.

Thanks for the kind words, Nathan. It’s hard to fathom so many thousands of years later, the same fighting is going on.

It is kind of remarkable how much influence a pope has. I agree as well that this time we get someone a little more toward the middle at least.
