I want a refund.

From January to about May, all the money I EARN, is not mine. I have to give it away to an organization that does with it what they will. Finally, I’m discovering (well, kinda, we already knew) where a huge chunk of it is going; other people who DIDN’T earn it.

Democrats have had their way a tad too long.

People like Maxine Waters, Elizabeth Warren, AOC and others are quacking their usual sky is falling tirade. The sky didn’t fall the last time and it won’t this time. It’s ironic their go-to is to call Musk (their one-time best friend) an un-elected billionaire. We didn’t elect any of Biden’s string pullers either and how did that work out? Get over it.

The country is finally doing what needed to be done over the last fifty years or so.

Democrats have to build a better mouse trap (aka, a new lying policy) to earn the trust and prove they care about the same things Americans do. Screaming about abortion, trans and pronouns are dead issues. They have to up Trump and outline a strategy to reduce the inflation they created. Suggest better ways to produce more energy (not wind and solar) to lower the gas prices they raised and pretend they can build a better wall than Trump.

The desperate dems are trying to muster some love raising the topic of reparations again while continuing to be racist denigrating “white” people. They still want to spend more money. Like Newsom stealing fifty million more tax dollars, to support and keep illegals in California! Are they not paying attention? Musk is working for the American people (for free) dedicated to cut spending and the democrats are determined to keep digging in to our pockets.

Thankfully things will get back to normal soon enough because the country is being managed by competent, intelligent adults.

The revelations how our money has been misspent is staggering. It’s refreshing that ‘we the people’ feel we are part of our government again. The transparency has allowed all of us to be participants as we watch the corruption reveal itself before eyes. We’re allowed to sit at the big people table.

We all know running the United States is running a massive business and you need business people to manage it. If any business from a coffee shop to Google were run in the same manner those shops or large corporations would have fired everyone responsible for the mess and/or closed their doors. A public company has to answer to the shareholders (the American citizen). If a company discovers monies have been going to other places instead of their company, the shareholders would fire the board of directors (government agencies) and start over. If it were still financially viable to even do so.

I ask myself, while the democrats are sitting on the partisan toilet, why are they fighting the uncovering of the vast corruption and the wasting of billions of tax dollars? Since their political necks are on the line, should they not be jumping in to help root out all the bad stuff? At least try and give the impression they care a little bit about our money. Show a modicum of concern.

Democrats haven’t learned a thing. Americans are watching their ranting; singing stupid songs, Code Red alerts and how this is a constitutional crisis. We have a financial crisis. Democrats pay attention.

The left needs to wipe away their fake tears, swallow a huge pride pill and get to work. Think of what could be accomplished if they operated side by side with republicans to get the mess cleaned up. If they became participants instead of antagonists in downsizing government, maybe they could reward Americans with tax cuts. They can take some ownership of being part of such an accomplishment. If they can just stop it already with the climate hoax and become energy independent again and reduce the cost of filling your car, they can take some credit for that too. If dems could have a kumbaya moment and join in closing the border, then tangible discussions can take place to create a real immigration strategy. If they could just put the country first for once.

Can you imagine if after cutting billions of dollars of flab and then give every American some of their money back, what kind of goodwill that could earn them. A number of well-run businesses reward their employees if the company had a good year. So can America.

Instead, democrats continue to be inflicted with TDS and even more so with MDS; Musk Derangement Syndrome.

Democrats continue to push against tornado-like winds trying to be heard above the cacophony and trashing Musk as a vampire sucking the fiscal blood of poor kids in Africa or taking medication away from people in South America. Democrats have to offer much more than their incessant name calling. It’s become tedious.

Trump is building a new generation of leaders. A young and strong group of men and women in his administration who can go on and lead for years to come. Business as usual is not going to cut it anymore. Americans won’t stand for it and won’t stand for going back to the shadowy government of old of which they were excluded.

We had become accustomed to accepting government “progress” at a glacial speed. If anything ever got accomplished in the first place. These last weeks have proven it never needed to be like that.

Keep the slash and burn going. Get bigger chain saws. Don’t back down on anything. Like water, the country will find its own level eventually. There will be pain along the way but like an Etch-a-Sketch, if you don’t like the first thing you draw, just shake it up and start over.

America will be celebrating her 250th birthday soon. What a perfect time to get things cleaned up and start over.

In the meantime, I want some of my money back.
