Humans who have lost all common sense

I’m still one of those who enjoy watching the show “Survivor.” Not because it’s riveting TV, but for the social aspect. I love watching human behavior reveal herself in real time. I like to witness the shifting of morals, lying for personal gain, manipulation for selfish reasons; in other words, everyday life. Though there was a very emotional and touching moment a couple shows ago I don’t have the room to write about it in this column. It did show how we humans can be a very loving species.

Over the years the show has trended its contestants to lean more toward a younger crowd. Gone are the 60-year-olds and older. Now we get to watch the future of America; providing some insight in what the country will be shaping into. Like a lot of things, Survivor also went Woke. One example of this is that Jeff Probst used to say, “Come on in, guys” when inviting the contestants to participate in the next challenge. A few seasons back he asked the contestants if anyone had a problem with the word “guys” and no one spoke up; until the next day. Apparently after sleeping on it, a young gay man said he now did have an issue with the use of the word; “guys” was never used again.

I’m not disparaging the young man, but I do question why Jeff even bothered to bring it up. I always ask my mom and step-father, “So what are you guys up to?” or when speaking with a group of friends, “What do you guys what to do?” You get the idea. There’s nothing meant by the word “guys.”

Thankfully this trend of word nonsense is starting to unwind.

America is shifting from complete loony tunes back to common-sense.

The Democrat party is also shifting… backwards. For Democrats words are still critically important i.e., racist, Nazi. And if you want to rise up and make alliances in the Democrite Tribe you scream, pound your fist and curse. It’s become vogue for elected Democrats to use the F word because it really shows how tough they are. If you can’t make your point without cursing, you can’t make your point.

Apparently.

Tribal Council Machinations

The Democrite Tribe has become one big reality show of Survivor. Its members are conniving, manipulating, changing the meaning of words, back-stabbing and doing whatever it takes to desperately cling to whatever smidgeons of power they have left. Well, actually it’s business as usual. They’ve been to Tribal Council so many times now and have been voted off, but they refuse to leave the island. Even people in former alliances are voting for them to give it up.

When the Democrites were in power they had no fear. All the three-letter departments were on their side. The media worked their tails off for them. They had full control of their president.

What could possibly go wrong?

However, like on Survivor, every time a contestant or contestants think they got it locked up, that they’re in charge of the game, that they’re controlling the outcome, boom, they’re blindsided. Often times with an idol (the media) in their pocket.

The Democrites were confident they were shielded from getting voted out. Even while the truth was staring them in the face how woke policies were not resonating with Americans. The tide had been turning for some time and they weren’t watching the water recede. When you get that cocky your vision gets a little blurry.

So here we are. A party pounding its feet, shaking their fists, cursing up a storm without a thing to offer other than glamping on any sliver of controversy they can create.

The Valley of Hate

I’m not going to join others who claim this is the end of the Democrat Party. There are still plenty of people (hard to believe) who think they’re doing a good job. Too many continue to be filled with rage against the right. They’ll stand firm with their party, even if the cake and ice cream are all gone.

Democrats have always functioned by different rules; they don’t have any. When you don’t have any scruples and change your moral compass every time the wind shifts, you are pretty much free to do what you want.

Electric cars, climate change, drug use, gang members, child trafficking, harboring criminals all get swirled around in the pot of social justice and plucked out or tossed back in as needed. I found it astonishing ex-astronaut, Mark Kelly, along with some other liberal children, played the silly game of making a big deal out of him selling his Tesla and then bragging about buying a gas-guzzling, climate-change-killing pick-up truck. The Democrites didn’t even flinch to call him out for his new polluting vehicle. Not that long ago he wouldn’t have had the huevos to even attempt something that far out of the progressive realm. Last year he thought he was doing his part to save the planet. Today he’s destroying it. What changed? Does he no longer care about climate change?

He never did.

It was all a ruse. Even someone as educated as Mark Kelly gets sucked into the Valley of Hate.

The Democrites are going to have to gear up for a new season of Survivor America.

Conservatives are not keying cars, ripping off MAGA hats, spouting and drawing “Nazi” and burning things up. They’re working. They’re still trying to recover from the last four bungling years of Biden.

Good things take time. It’s like when you put on extra weight. It creeps up on you and you suddenly wonder where did that come from? Getting it off though is no easy task. Takes a lot of work, discipline, and time, but if you stick to it, eventually you’ll be rewarded with a new you, or maybe a better old you.

So, come on in guys. Time to face a new challenge so you can earn your flint back.
